Here is a new weekly post that I try to settle!!! Every week I will share with you a recipe that I tested on Sunday.
Today: Palmier biscuit
This is a french biscuit that you can find in a supermarket or at the bakery Paul ( for those who know )
What you need:
a puff pastry roll
50g of butter ( non-salty )
sugar ( a lot )
How do I do?
Start by pre-heating your oven at 200°C. On a bake tray, put your roll of puff pastry on an ovenproof sheet. Spread sugar on the puff pastry. Melt your butter in the microwave and spread it on the puff pastry too. Roll the two longer side of the puff pastry, so they join each other in the middle. Cut 1cm slices and then put them flat on the ovenproof sheet. Re-shape the biscuit, so it look like a heart. Spread sugar on the biscuit. Bake for 15-20 min. When they are golden on the top, it’s ready. You can also turn them half way if you prefer.
Let them cool down, and enjoy!!!
Children and parents will love those lovely biscuits for a yummy snack!!!! Or just to impress some friends (and family in law)…
Bon Appétit !
